Our Partners Are Our Secret Weapon
The Dunk 45 project would be the equivalent of a tree falling in a forest without the support of our partners. They were selected for a simple reason: I know, use and trust their products and services.
Please do them the courtesy of visiting their sites, learning about them and then becoming huge fans.
Celsius Energy Drinks
I've never been a big fan of the typical energy drinks. They taste weird and they make me feel like someone stabbed me in the chest with a shot of adrenaline. But I discovered Celsius drinks about 2 years ago in the break room of one of my clients. And not only did the drinks taste great, but they actually made me feel good. Now that I'm on this crazy training regimen, my day starts at about 4:30 in the morning and I'm usually working out by 5:30. Celsius helps me get ramped up quickly and makes the workouts effective. You gotta check them out.
At 5:45 in the morning, this is how I get moving.
Camp Gladiator
Camp Gladiator is the national leader in group fitness.
I've been attending CG boot camps since Sept 2010, and they are a big reason why this crazy campaign has even a remote shot of being successful. I'm in the shape I am at my age because of CG. Their trainers are encouraging, tough, fun, creative, tough....just what most of us need.
I love Boundless and their healthy snacks!
Boundless Nutrition
One of the first partners to get behind Dunk45 was Boundless Nutrition, a fast growing food and beverage company based in Austin, TX. I've been a fan of their Oatmega bars for years, and their Perfect Fit cookies are a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth...without screwing up my training.
Vibram FiveFingers
In the last 5 years, the most significant decision I've made about my workout routine was a simple one: I learned to run (nearly) barefoot.
Now, for some people, this is (another) sign of my insanity. For others, I've just blown a dog whistle that fellow true believers have heard and they are now looking at me through different eyes. My decision to go for minimalist footwear, though, was directly tied to my introduction to Vibram Fivefingers, the coolest shoes I have ever owned.
